During the conclusion of the Nuestra Belleza El Salvador 2016, Sofía Trigueros emerged as the 2nd runner-up thus earning her the title Miss Supranational El Salvador 2016. She will soon fly to Krynica- Zdroj, a charming town in southern Poland for the the Miss Supranational contest. The finals are slated on December 2, 2016.
This is the second try of Sofía Trigueros at the Nuestra Belleza El Salvador contest. In 2014, she was named as Miss Photogenic but failed to clinch any major crown.
No El Salvadorean woman has ever made it to the semis of the Miss Supranational contest. The country is currently ranked 71st at the Big4 (soon to be Big5) ranking. The Miss Supranational pageant was added by Missosology as one of the major international beauty pageant in January 2016.
