The 22 year old from Artemisa will represent her socialist country at Miss Earth 2022 pageant. Sheyla Ravelo is a brand ambassador and an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Florida Department of Chemistry.
Cuba has competed in all Big5 pageants but was absent in the international stage for several decades. It made a comeback in 2007 when Ariana Barouk participated at Miss Earth. Once of the unforgettable Miss Cuba at Big5 pageants was Jamillette Gaxiola who was tagged as a frontrunner but was left out of the Miss Earth 2009 semifinals.
Cuba is currently ranked at 110th at the Big5 Ranking.
