The Miss Beauty of the Netherlands 2021 competition concluded on August 28 at the Studio 21 in Hilversum with Saartje Langstraat winning the top plum.
The 20-year-old model from Bergschenhoek edged out 11 other finalists for the title and the right to represent the European nation at the 2021 Miss Earth pageant.
Also crowned in the same event were Miss Intercontinental of the Netherlands 2021 Suzette van der Pol and Miss Teen of the Netherlands 2021 Anne Brouwer.
“Everything still feels so surreal to me. Yesterday, I enjoyed every second of the evening together with my fellow queens. I am so proud of the show we have put on,” Langstraat posted on Instagram. “I will do my utmost best to represent The Netherlands in [Miss Earth].”
Langstraat is an international media and communication student. She has her own company in recyclable fashion.
