Roshanara Ebrahim was crowned Miss Universe Kenya 2021 during the finals held October 31.

The 28-year-old author and model bested nine other finalists for the title. She will represent the nation at the 70th Miss Universe competition in Eilat, Israel in December.

“I feel an immense amount of love and am so grateful for the honorable opportunity to represent Kenya in Israel on the Global stage this December,” Ebrahim posted on Instragram. “I vow to continue to give my all.”

Ebrahim’s win comes five years after she was dethroned as Miss World Kenya 2016 over alleged breach of code of conduct and contract.

Ebrahim is a law degree graduate from the University of Nairobi. She is ]a mindfulness coach and a certified advanced level quantum healing and hypnosis (QHHT) practitioner. She is also the founder of Jade Rituals, an online store which deals in exclusive Nephrite Jade Products from British Colombia.
