Rolene Strauss is crowned as Miss South Africa 2014 in a pageant held on Sunday, March 30. She was crowned by outgoing Miss South Africa Marilyn Ramos with a brand new crowned dubbed as Palesa which is flower in the Sesotho language. Rolene, a 21 year old beauty from Volksrust, won the title at a televised glitzy event at Sun City. This was Rolene’s second try as she ended as a finalist in 2011. Matlala Mokoko was crowned 2nd princess and Ziphozakhe Zokufa 1st princess. Rolene is expected to compete at both Miss Universe and Miss World pageants.
