The 21 year old fashion model from Pristina will represent Kosovo at the Miss Universe 2022 pageant. Roksana Ibrahimi, is a stunning beauty queen that could put back Kosovo in the pageant map. Her country debuted at Miss Universe back in 2008 and it was Zana Krasniqi who carried the Kosovar banner in Nha Trang, Vietnam. She became one of the Top 10. The highest placement of Kosovo was in 2009 when Marigona Dragusha was named as 2nd runner-up.
Roksana Ibrahimi’s stunning looks caught the attention of the pageant analysts. She could be the one who can save Kosovo from its anemic performance at international pageantry. After all, it’s been a decade since Kosovo made it to the semis of Miss Universe.
The crowning of the new Miss Universe Kosovo is held side by side with the selection of the new Miss Universe Albania and Miss Earth Albania. Kosovo is a partially recognized state and was once a part of Serbia. Because most of its population are ethnic Albanians, Kosovo unilaterally declared its independence in 1992.
