Rikkie Kolle made history earlier this month when she was crowned as Miss Nederland 2023. She is the first transgender to win a major national crown in the Netherlands. The 22 year old beauty will represent Netherlands at the Miss Universe pageant later this year in El Salvador.
Her upcoming participation at Miss Universe 2023 will be mark as the second time that a transgender participated at Miss Universe. In 2018, Angela Ponce became the first transgender to compete in the prestigious pageant representing Spain.
Rikkie Kolle is 22 years old and hails from the city of Breda. She is working as a model since her teenage years.
