Rashmi Madhuri was crowned Miss Earth India 2021 during the finals of Miss Divine Beauty 2021 competition held September 25.

The 27-year-old entrepreneur of a pharmaceutical company in Bangalore bested 16 other finalists for the title. She will represent the nation at the 2021 Miss Earth pageant to be held later this year. She succeeded 2020 winner Tanvi Kharote.

The rest of the Top 6 included Alankrita Shahi, Pawani Kohli, Sukraty Sexena, Komal Khillare and Aavya Gupta.

Madhuri is currently pursuing BSc in IT. She is also working on menstrual waste management. No stranger to pageants, she was first runner-up in Miss Divine Beauty 2019. In 2016 she joined Miss Glam India and placed third runner-up.
