The first of the Big5 major international beauty pageants concluded on October 26 with Nellys Pimentel of Puerto Rico bagging the Miss Earth 2019 crown, making history as the first from her country to win the title.
The win is also historic as Puerto Rico has officially won all of the Big5 relevant beauty pageants: Miss Universe (1970 • 1985 • 1993 • 2001 • 2006), Miss World (1975 • 2016), Miss International (1987 • 2014), Miss Supranational (2018), and now Miss Earth (2019).
Pageant veteran Emanii Davis of the USA was named Miss Earth Air. Klara Vavruskova of the Czech Republic and Alisa Manenok of Belarus settled for the Miss Earth Water and Miss Earth Fire elemental crowns. Missosology.Org
