At the conclusion of one of the most awaited national pageants, Paraguay crowned 4 queens that will soon compete at major and relevant international pageants. The pageant was held at Paseo La Galería in Asunción. A total of 14 beauties competed for the four major titles: Miss Universo Uruguay, Miss Mundo Uruguay, Miss International Uruguay and Miss Tierra Uruguay.
Bagging the Miss Universo Paraguay title is Leah Ashmore, 27 years of age and works as a model and has a degree in marketing. She represented Paraguay in various minor pageants such as Miss Grand International and Miss Tourism World. Last year, Paraguay almost took home its first ever Miss Universe crown when Nadia Ferriera was named as 1st runner-up.
Named as Miss Mundo Paraguay 2022 is Dahiana Gatzke. She is 20 years old and works as a model. She hopes to become a lawyer someday. She will represent Paraguay at the 71st edition of Miss World pageant.
Jazmín de la Sierra meanwhile was crowned as Miss Internacional Paraguay. She is a 24-year-old model and DJ. She will compete at the Miss International 2023 pageant.
Crowned as Miss Tierra Paraguay is Macarena Tomas. She is a 28-year-old yoga instructor with a degree in nutrition. She will compete at the Miss Earth 2022 pageant which will be held in Manila later this year.
