This week, a new Miss Venezuela was crowned. Along with the celebration of their new queen, Osmel Sousa’s controversial statements once again are spot for the international beauty portals; this time was about Stephanie De Zorzi, the recently crowned Miss Earth Venezuela in hands of new franchise directors, which includes former Miss Earth 2013, Alyz Henrich.

Between the most relevant things Osmel said was that Miss Earth is a fourth category pageant, that he didn’t send Stephanie by the time she was supposed to compete due to weight issues, and he wishes success to the delegate (Stephanie) they will send, who came out prepared and operated (submitted to plastic surgery) by them.

Stephanie didn’t hesitate to reply Osmel about his statement and posted in her Instagram account:

“I want to clarify: that instead of supporting, they take it personal; I’ve been attacked with @zardelabelleza declarations. Mr. Osmel, I would like you to tell me about what plastic surgery procedures you say you did to me, also specify which one; to be honest, I don’t think that at the age of 23 I can suffer early amnesia. Also, I want you to remind me in what moment you people (the MV Org.) prepared me for going to the pageant you never sent me and in what moment you people gave me the so-called lessons you’re talking about. I want to remind you that when I won ‘A Miss Tierra’ (ME Venezuela designation by then), there wasn’t a signed contract, neither an award or any kind of monthly payment that would allow me to survive in the country unlike my queen mates, and that’s the main reason why I had to go to work to Mexico. I had no sponsors, I remind you. The same way I respect you, I ask you to respect me and stop saying things that are not true. This is a new stage in my life, which I want to enjoy the most. Now that you point out that the @missearth “fourth category” pageant, I would like to know why @missvenezuela organization had this franchise and why did you even tried to buy it again this year! I am sorry but I’m done with silence and granted, I’ve tried to erase this stage of my life and yet, you’re still hurting? To the ones that want to support without trampling, you’re welcome, I receive you with all the love I have for my country Venezuela. Good Evening.”
