Oluchi Madubuike, representing Abuja, was crowned the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) 2021 during the finals held September 18 at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos.

The 25-year-old nurse and model bested 26 other candidates for the top crown and the right to represent the nation at the 70th Miss World contest to be held in December in Puerto Rico.

Anambra’s Maristella Okpala bagged the MBGN Universe 2021 title. The 28-year-old cabin crew, dental technician and model will compete at the 70th Miss Universe competition in Eilat, Israel in December.

No stranger to pageants, Okpala previously represented Nigeria at the Miss Earth 2018 pageant in the Philippines.

Child rights activist Adaeze Chineme from Abia was named MBGN Supranational 2021 and will represent the country at the 2022 Miss Supranational competition.

Also crowned in the same event were MBGN Tourism 2021 Mercy Jessica Odjugo (Bayelsa) and MBGN ECOWAS 2021 Lydia Okojie (Bauchi).
