Olivia Harris was crowned Miss Wales 2021 during the finals held September 11 at The Riverfront in Newport.

The 18-year-old model and beauty and spa therapist from Magor bested 35 other candidates for the title. She will head on to represent Wales at the 70th Miss World contest to be held in December in Puerto Rico. She succeeded 2019 winner Gabriella Jukes.

“Dreams do come true,” said Harris, who is an ambassador for the charity “Ready Steady Go” that supports children with autism.

Lauren Elizabeth Parkinson and Emily Norris placed first and second runners-up, respectively.
