To represent Mauritius at the Miss Universe 2023 and Miss Supranational 2023 pageants is Nilmani Devi Hurlall. She was crowned as Miss Maurice 2023 in a pageant held at Maritim Crystals Beach Hotel in Belle-Mare. The 23 year-old beauty represented the town of Mahebourg. She loves singing and is pursuing a degree in Vocal Performance. A total of 20 contestants competed in this year’s Miss Maurice pageant. Hurlall Karishma was hailed as the first runner-up while and Tatiana Beauharnais is the second runner-up.
The current Miss Maurice is Alexandrine Belle Etoile who was appointed to compete at Miss Universe 2022 and Miss Supranational 2022. She is one of the special guests during the pageant which also includes Miss Reunion 2021 Dana Virin and Miss Universe Seychelles 2022 Gabriella Gonthier.
Nilmani Devi Hurlall walked away with a total of MUR 100, 000 (approx. USD 2, 200) and the right to represent Mauritius at Big5 pageants and to show her catwalk skills at the runways of New York Fashion Week.
