Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen is 27 years of age, stands 5’9″ and hails from the town of Nam Dinh. She was crowned during a glittering pageant held at Phú Thọ Indoor Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City. With her title, she earned the right to represent Vietnam at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant which will be held in Mexico City this November. No Vietnamese woman has ever won the Miss Universe crown so it will be a uphill climb for Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen.
A total of 33 contestants from across Vietnam competed for the prestigious crown. Nguyen Quynh Anh from Hanoi was named as the first runner-up while Vu Thuy Quynh who hails from Điện Biên is the second runner-up. Completing the Top 5 are Quach Tapiau Maily and Paris Bảo Nhi.
