The Miss Earth Sri Lanka 2018 competition concluded on September 11 with the crowning of Nathasha Fernando at Galle Face Hotel.
The 21-year-old engineering student will now head on to compete at the 2018 Miss Earth pageant in November in the Philippines.
Prasadi Rajapaksha and Natasha Fernando placed first and second runners-up, respectively.
Nathasha enjoys sketching, handcrafting, dress designing, and reading books. She hopes to conserve the marine ecosystem and the coastal areas of Sri Lanka and to restore the coastal habitat in the parts of the country that have already been affected.
