The official instagram account of Reinado Colombia has announced in a post that Natalia Lopez Cardona will represent Colombia at the Miss International 2022 pageant. Natalia is the first runner-up or virreina during the Señorita Colombia 2021 pageant. She is a 23 year old law student who represented the Quindío Department.
Colombia is one of the successful countries at Miss International pageant. It boasts three crowns and the first ever winner, Stella Márquez, hails from Colombia. In the latest Big5 Ranking which incorporates the scores of Miss World 2022, Colombia is ranked 5th with bulk of its scores coming from Miss International.
The Miss International 2022 will be held later this year. Due to the pandemic, no pageant was held in 2022 and 2021. The current titleholder Sireethorn Leearamwat of Thailand holds the distinction of being. the longest reigning Miss International.
