Naomie Nishimwe was crowned Miss Rwanda 2020 during the finals held February 22 at the Intare Conference Arena in Rusororo.
The senior-six graduate representing the City of Kigali, bested 18 other candidates for the title. Nishimwe is expected to compete in the next edition of the Miss World contest. She also took home the Miss Photogenic award.
Phionah Umwiza and Denise Umutesi placed first and second runners-up, respectively. The Miss Personality award went to Irasubiza Alliance, while Phiona Umwiza won Miss Congeniality. Nicole Ndenga Teta took home Miss Heritage award.
