Nana Ama Benson, representing the Central Region, was crowned Miss Ghana 2018 during the finals held September 29 at the Accra Marriot Hotel.
The 23-year-old graduate of the University of Ghana Nursing School will now represent the country at the 2018 Miss World pageant in December in Sanya, China. She also bagged the Beauty with a Purpose, Most Disciplined, Miss Bikini and Miss Eloquence special awards.
Laila Issaka (Northern Region) placed first runner-up, while Elizabeth Mary Maclean (Western Region) was second runner-up. Nine ladies competed for the title.
