Nadia Gyi was crowned Miss World Sri Lanka 2018 during the finals held September 25 at The Hilton Hotel in Colombo.
The 20-year-old stunner bested 10 other candidates for the custom-made crown and the right to represent her country at the 2018 Miss World finals to be held in Sanya, China in December. She also bagged the Model of the Year and Miss Confidence special awards.
“How I feel right now is absolutely indescribable. I think all the hard work paid off and I’m very excited. I have one month to prepare for the main pageant and I will make use of it and definitely try to bring the crown home,” Gyi said.
