Naa Morkor Commodore was crowned the new Miss Universe Ghana in a special ceremony held October 13.

The 26-year-old model and entrepreneur will head on to compete at the 70th Miss Universe competition in Eilat, Israel in December. She suceeded 2020 titleholder Chelsea Tayui.

“To our new queen, may you be an inspiration that reflects true vision to every Ghanaian woman and every individual the world over,” the Miss Universe Ghana organization said in a statement.

Commodore was Miss Universe Ghana 2018 second runner-up. Prior to that, she competed in Miss Intercontinental 2016 in Sri Lanka. She placed second runner-up and bagged the Miss Intercontinental Africa subtitle.
