Moa Sandberg from Stockholm was crowned Miss Universe Sweden 2021 during the finals held October 30 at Clarion Hotel Post in Gothenburg.

The 25-year-old life coach and personal assistant bested 15 other finalists for the title. She will represent the nation at the 70th Miss Universe competition in Eilat, Israel in December.

Lucy Dimitrova and Sofia Sjöberg placed first and second runners-up, respectively.

Sandberg succeeded 2019 titleholder Lina Ljungberg. Sweden skipped the 2020 edition of the Miss Universe pageant.

A familiar face in the pageant world, Sandberg previously represented Sweden at the 2014 Miss International beauty pageant in Japan.

Sweden bagged the Miss Universe crown in 1955, 1966, and 1984. It currently ranks 30th in Missosology Big5 Ranking. Missosology.Org
