Amid the pomp and pageantry attended by a massive crowd, Huỳnh Trần Ý Nhi was crowned as the new Miss World Vietnam. The 21 year old Business Administration student will compete at the Miss World 2024 pageant. The glittering event was held at MerryLand in the central city of Quy Nhơn, Bình Định Province and was attended by the reigning Miss World Karolina Bielawska of Poland.
A total of 40 contestants from all over Vietnam competed for the title. Dao Thi Hien was named as first runner-up while Huynh Minh Kien was the second runner-up. Vietnam is yet to win the Miss World crown but has made it to the semis in 10 instances.
