The search is on for the Philippines’ next representative to the Miss World beauty pageant.
This year, 25 ladies are battling it out for the Miss World Philippines crown in hopes of following the footsteps of the first Filipino Miss World, Megan Young.
But before the final showdown of beauty, wit and charm, here’s out FIRST HOT PICKS.
Leading our list is early favorite Catriona Elisa Gray. This 22-year-old Filipino-Australian model from Albay has been preparing for the pageant for months now. Aside from the traditional pasarela and Q&A trainings, she is also preparing for her Beauty With A Purpose project. She recently organized a benefit concert for underprivileged children.
Not far behind in second is the stunning Sandra Lemonon. This 21-year-old multilingual (she speaks six languages!) fine arts graduate hails from Pasig City. She is into rock climbing and cliff diving, and is keen on helping children in Tahanan Ng Pagmamahal. Her beauty reminds us of Patricia Yurena Rodriguez of Spain (Miss World 2008 Top 15 finalist and Miss Uuniverse 2013 1st runner-up).
