Martine Cutajar earned the right to represent Malta at the Miss World 2024 pageant after being crowned as Miss World Malta 2023. The event was held at Fort St. Elmo in the capital city of Valletta. A total of 23 contestants vied for the crown. Amber Debono was hailed as the first runner-up while Graziella Debono was named as the second runner-up. The pageant was organized by Modelle International under the direction of Sue Rossi and Claudia Calleja. It was broadcasted via ONE TV.

Martine Cutajar is 23 years old and works as a model. She is currently pursuing a Masters Degree of Psychotherapy at Gestalt Psychotherapy Training Institute Malta.

Malta has been sending delegates to Miss World since 1965. It is yet to win the crown but there were two Maltese beauties who made it to the semis: Mary Brincat as one of the Top 15 in 1969 and Michela Galea who made it to the Top 40 in 2017.
