Miss World Honduras 2014 Maria Jose Alvarado is supposed to compete in London for the Miss World pageant but the beauty queen went missing. She was last seen with her sister boarding a vehicle after a birthday party in the city of Santa Barbara. Not far away, the city of San Pedro Sula is tagged the world’s most dangerous city with a staggering 3.3 murders per day.
The police has began searching for the beauty queen and has rounded up some of the suspects. Honduras is one of the most dangerous places in earth where homicide, gang violence and drug related crimes are common.
