Rgat Afewerki Ybrah will represent Ethiopia at Miss World 2023 pageant which will be held in New Delhi, India. She is a fashion model and a brand ambassador for a lifestyle resort. She hails from Addis Ababa. The crowning of Rgat Afewerki Ybrah marks the return of Ethiopia at the Miss World pageant. The country last participated in 2019.
Ethiopia is yet to win the Miss World crown. It debuted in the pageant in 2003. It was that year when Ethiopia recorded its highest placement after Hayat Ahmed Mohammed placed in the Top 20.
