AN 18-YEAR-OLD student was crowned Miss World Barbados 2018 during the finals held on April 7 at the Barbados Concorde Experience.
Ashley Lashley bested 5 other candidates for the right to represent the Caribbean island at the 2018 Miss World pageant. She will be Barbados’ first representative in the Big5 pageant since 2014.
No stranger to pageants, Lashley was crowned Miss Teen Barbados 2015. Her advocacy is to raise awareness on the impact of chronic non-communicable diseases. Missosology.Org
