The candidates of the 70th Miss World were officially welcomed in Puerto Rico in a press conference held at the Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve.
As a welcome gift, each country received a passport showcasing all the fun things to do in Puerto Rico during their visit.
Rio Grande mayor Ángel “Bori” Gonzalez Damudt gifted Miss World CEO and chairman Julia Morley with a key to the city. This generous gift represented the honor of welcoming Miss World to Rio Grande and was a beautiful gesture of recognition.
