Miss World 2019 Toni-Ann Singh arrived home in Jamaica on December 20 for a four-day visit to screams and celebrations and a media frenzy.
“I’m great and happy to be home. I am grateful and overwhelmed by the love and support I have been receiving,” Singh said.

Hundreds lined the streets of St Thomas on Dec 21 to get a glimpse of the new Miss World on her homecoming parade.
During a visit to the St Thomas branch of the Women’s Centre of Jamaica Foundation, it was announced the government will build a new nursery in her honour called the Toni-Ann Singh Nursery. Later in the day, a cultural tribute was thrown for her at the Emancipation Park in St Andrew, where she was presented the with the Key to the City of Kingston.

Singh also attended the Prime Minister’s reception in Kingston on December 22.
