The battle for the new Miss Universe Thailand Mouawad crown will come into conclusion tonight with 30 finalists vying for the right to wear that piece of art encrusted with 43 pear-shaped peridots and numerous round white topaz gems. With the crown comes the prestige of representing Thailand at the Miss Universe 2022 pageant which will be held later this year. Over the past few weeks, the competition has intensified but according to the panel of beauty experts, there’s only two that could walk away with the crown and title.
Leading the pack is Anna Sueangam-iam (แอนนา เสืองามเอี่ยม). The 23-year-old beauty from Bangkok is under the Amanda Obdam group and during the preliminaries, Anna has shown finesse and sophistication. Her personality is perfect for Miss Universe. She’s got that restrained élan which is a joy to see onstage. It is of little wonder that she is raking a lot of special awards.
Not far behind is Nicolene Limsnukan (พิชาภา ลิมศนุกาญจน์). The Thai-American beauty queen is quite a heavyweight experience-wise. Afterall, she’s Miss World 2018 first runner-up which is highest achievement ever for a Thai beauty queen at the Miss World pageant. Such achievement and experience has a very telling effect on her performance onstage. She’s got that subtle confidence and joie de vivre is just radiating all over her.
In the third place is Patraporn Wang (ภัทราพร หวัง). It is amazing to see this 27 year old former Miss Intercontinental titleholder competing for a national title. However her maturity and her statuesque/towering figure cut above the rest. Her beauty may be divisive but she sure knows how to make her presence felt onstage.
Suchata Chuangsri (สุชาตา ช่วงศรี) meanwhile is a candidate to watch. She personifies beauty in simplicity and our beauty experts love her for her smooth moves and ethereal beauty. She is 4th in this Hot Picks but a lot of beauty observers believe she can rank way higher.
Completing the top 5 is Kanyalak Nookaew (กัญญาลักษณ์ หนูแก้ว). You can call her as the queen of catwalk. Her diva like maneuvers onstage is just jaw dropping. The fierceness, the vibrancy, and the bright aura she diffuses are all contagious.
