Months before the press presentation, there were no shortage of speculations within the pageantry grapevine on who among the heavyweights will try their luck at Miss Universe Philippines 2024. There were lots of buzz and excitement as fans pored the list of possible candidates ranging from pageant veterans to newbies.
When the day came to reveal the official list, it became a showstopper thanks to the dizzying bevy of strong contestants. It is as if the best of the very best decided to show up this year. We’ve got pageant veterans who already made their mark and are household names. On the other hand, we’ve got the newbies. They may be greenhorns but they are showing a lot of potential exuding both strength and confidence.
This year is a direct contrast of the two-way fight that we had in 2023. Let’s admit that it was simply a case of Dee vs. Amelinckx. You see, Miss Universe Philippines 2024 will be a carnage bereft of any perspicuity as to who will ultimately survive.
So, as futile as it may be as of the moment, I sought the opinions of our seers and oracles. Here’s the list of who they think made an impact and positive impression:
