Irene Ng’endo Mukii is 26 years old and stands 5’8″ tall. She is a dancer, philanthropist, fitness enthusiast and software engineer. She has previously represented Kenya in an international beauty contest. She was crowned in a glittering pageant held at Argyle Grand Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya. Reigning Miss Universe Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua witnessed the crowning.
Kenya is yet to win the Miss Universe crown. The participation of Irene Ng’endo Mukii at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico later this year marks the comeback of Kenya after a 2-year absence. The country’s highest placement in the pageant was a Top 6 finish of Mary Esther Were in 2016. Kenya is currently ranked 67th at the Big5 Ranking.
