The Miss Universe Argentina organization has announced that Bárbara Cabrera will be representing Argentina in the upcoming 71st edition of Miss Universe. She is 26 years of age and she is an entrepreneur and a professional model. She represented Argentina at the Miss Eco International 2021 pageant where she is one of the semifinalists.
Argentina, which is currently ranked 24th at the Big5 pageant, has one Miss Universe titleholder. Norma Nolan, who won in 1962, remains the only Argentine beauty to win the Miss Universe crown. The last time the country made it to the semis was in 2020 when Alina Luz Akselrad made it to the Top 21.
