Held at the Valkoinen Sali in Helsinki, the Miss Suomi 2022 pageant concluded with the crowning of Petra Hämäläinen. Nana Partanen was named as the first runner-up while Adelaide Botty van den Bruele is the second runner-up. A total of 20 finalists competed for the prestigious crown and the right to represent Finland in the upcoming 71st edition of Miss Universe.
Petra Hämäläinen is 26 years of age and works as a model. The Savonlinna native is also pursuing a degree in education at the University of Eastern Finland. She hopes to follow the footsteps of Armi Kuusela (Miss Universe 1956) and Anne Marie Pohtamo (Miss Universe 1975).
