Miss Venezuela 2016
Amidst an environment of high expectations and uncertainty, 22-year-old, Keysi Sayago, representing Monagas, was crowned Miss Venezuela 2016 by her predecessor, Mariam Habach, and is expected to compete in the 66th edition of Miss Universe.
With measurements 88-60-90 and 1.78m height, Keysi stood out among the other 23 delegates.
Diana Croce (Nueva Esparta), Antonella Massaro (Vargas), Reneta Bello (Yaracuy) and Rosangélica Piscitelli (Miranda) ended up as the first, second, third and fourth runners up, respectively.
The Top 10 was completed with Melanie Bermúdez (Bolivar), Yanett Díaz (Distrito Capital), María Victoria D’Ambrosio (Guárico), María Fernanda Paredes (Mérida) and Claribel Victoria González (Sucre).
The special awards went to Rosangélica Piscitelli – Miranda (Miss Elegance & Photogenic), Betania Rojas – Táchira (Miss Friendship) and Fernanda Zabián – Apure (Miss Talent).
Only one woman was crowned in this edition, leaving uncertainties as to which pageants the runners-up will be competing.
