The 23-year-old model and finance expert will represent Ethiopia at the Miss International 2024! Hermela Nigussie hopes to become the first Ethiopian Miss International. She represented her country in various pageants internationally making her a pageant veteran.
Ethiopia debuted at Miss International back in 2003. To date, the country showed up to the pageant 9 times. However, no Ethiopian woman has ever land on the semis.
This year’s Miss International will be held once again in Tokyo, Japan. The finals is set on November 12 where the reigning queen, Andrea Rubio, will crown her succesor.
