Miss Intercontinental Myanmar 2014, Angel Lamung’s national costume is the combination of styles of the Five Ethnic Groups among over 135 ethnic groups living in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

These Five ethnic groups; (Lisu, Akha, Chin, Kachin and Padaung) are very famous ethnic people in the world who can attract for tourism of Myanmar  and Visitors around the world are very interested in their national costumes,  tradition and culture.

So, Miss Myanmar would like to present to promote the tourism of Myanmar by wearing this remix unique  National Costume. The designer meticulously created this whole dress as handmade in very details by  decorating and adding the new creation in the dress with the symbols of Myanmar ethnic culture.

Big Sliver rings in the hand, Silver chains of the dress, Golden Neck Rings, a Gorgeous Headdress, many  beautiful beads decorating traditional weaving patterns are very precious accessories of the Myanmar ethnic  people and the weight of the costume is very heavy.

To show the pride of Myanmar and to present how we value Miss Intercontinental Beauty pageant and how Myanmar people are very proud to be a part of this pageant as a debut country, this handmade national  costume was created and new designed in very details and costs 5400 USD.

The National Costume also reflects the unity of ethnic groups in Myanmar. So, we are very proud to present and our very first Miss Intercontinental  Myanmar loves to wear this national costume on this very meaningful global  stage of Miss Intercontinental 2014 pageant.

Angel will represent Myanmar in the Miss Intercontinental 2014 in Berlin &  Magdeburg, Germany on 4th of December 2014.
