Now aims to become the 1st International Beauty Queen from Myanmar
Jue San Tar, a 5’ 6 tall and University student taking up Bachelor of Science in Physics won the title Miss Globe Myanmar 2014 last Wednesday, March 4 at the glittering finals held at the magnificent Karaweik Palace in the city of Yangon. She will be the official candidate of Myanmar, known as the Golden Land in the 2014 Miss Globe International Pageant in Turkey this coming May. Aside from winning the coveted title, she was also named Miss Absolute Beauty Skin given by its major sponsor KMA Cosmetics and Best Complexion award by My Princess Clinic.
Born April 3, 1997 in Yangon, Jue San Tar is the youngest among her siblings with two sisters and a brother. She hopes to have her own business someday just like her mother and sister who works as Managing Director in a Travel and Tours Company and her father who is also into Real Property business.
Missosology Team had an exclusive interview with Miss Globe Myanmar 2014 Jue San Tar the day after her coronation:
MISSOSOLOGY – What do you think is the hardest part of your preparation for Miss Globe Myanmar 2014?
JUE SAN TAR – “For me it’s the physical training. I’ve never been into dieting before although I am regularly doing yoga and exercise but now I know that I need to further train myself to achieve the best form. I am positive that I can easily overcome the training this time for Miss Globe International”.
MISSOSOLOGY – What do you think is the most unique thing about yourself?
JUE SAN TAR – “I can still manage to smile even if the situation is a bit tense. Sometimes if I am sad, I can still smile looking at the other people because I want other people to see me as a positive person and not easily get affected by negative situation”.
MISSOSOLOGY – Any specific characteristics of Myanmar people you think you can show to other candidates when you compete in Turkey for Miss Globe International Pageant?
JUE SAN TAR – “Myanmar people are very caring, helpful and kind-hearted. Those are the characteristics of my people that I will showcase to the rest of the candidates and organizers in Miss Globe International this coming month of May.”
MISSOSOLOGY – Aside from your country, what other countries you consider would be your best destination?
JUE SAN TAR – “Well of course I am excited to visit Turkey as the Pageant will be held in that country and I know that Turkey has a nice places as I’ve seen in the pictures. I also wanted to visit Korea because of the cold weather and I want to experience that. If given an opportunity, I would also like to go to Australia to finish my studies and lastly I want to visit the Philippines because of its beautiful islands and nice people”.
MISSOSOLOGY – What are your expectations when you compete in Miss Globe International Pageant?
JUE SAN TAR – “My expectation is to meet more people as I can. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and it’s interesting to meet different people with different backgrounds. Winning the crown of Miss Globe International 2014 is my main goal as this will be the first international beauty title I can offer to Myanmar. Aside from that, the pageant will be held in Turkey which is situated in Eurasia so I am so excited to see the mix culture of Asia and Europe”.
MISSOSOLOGY – How do you think the title Miss Globe International can help your country?
JUE SAN TAR – “The title will give me more opportunity to meet important people to support my advocacy which is to help our educational system and Tourism. With my goal to have my own Travel agency in the future, I can invite more people to visit Myanmar and I think that will help my country.”
MISSOSOLOGY – Part of your prize as Miss Globe Myanmar 2014 is to visit the Philippines for further training. What do you think about that?
JUE SAN TAR – “I am so excited to visit the Philippines! I feel so proud and privileged to be trained by Pageant Trainers from the Philippines and I will do my best to learn all the tips that they will provide to me”.
