Josephine Kamara, seen here with her sash and crown visiting the Environmental Protection Agency days after she was crowned Miss Earth Sierra Leone, will compete at the Miss Earth 2016 pageant later this year in the Philippines.
Josephine is no stranger in the pageantry world. She named 1st Runner-up Miss Sierra Leone and Miss University Sierra Leone 2012/13. She hails from Port Loko but is now living in the capital city of Freetown.
Sierra Leone, a west African country, participated at the Miss Earth pageant only twice – in 2007 and 2013. To date no Sierra Leonean has ever won the crown let alone land in the semis of Miss Earth.
