Josephine Bomele, 23 years of age and 5’10” tall, earned the right to represent the Democratic Republic of Congo in the upcoming Miss Earth 2015 pageant after being crowned as the winner of the Miss Earth DR Congo 2015 crown. Currently residing in France, Josephine was born in Kinshasa, DR Congo and has travelled extensively around the world as a model.
The Democratic Republic of Congo debuted at Miss Earth in 2008 and is yet to have a semifinalist. It’s participation at the Miss Earth pageant is not consistent and the year 2015 marks the comeback of the nation after years of absence
