The Miss Earth 2023 pageant is heating up! In this week’s Hot Picks, we are seeing some interesting changes. Miss Netherlands Noa Claus is now the leading candidate and the beauty experts are quite certain that she will eventually snatch the title. Will she hold on to this lead? Well, the beauty experts will still decide once the preliminaries are over. It is still 10 days or so to go so there could be some changes but it would probably take a seismic change in dynamics to topple the current leader!
Miss Brazil Morgana Carlos zoomed up to the second place. Everyone knows she carries quite a heavyweight sash thanks to her country’s two Miss Earth crowns. Brazilian delegates are usually top notch at Miss Earth and they usually land as one of the elemental queens or at the semis.
Miss Poland Ewa Jakubiec claimed from the 8th place to secure the third spot. Polish beauty queens fare quite well at Miss Earth and it is sometimes a head scratcher as to why they are yet to win a crown. Beauty experts are quite optimistic with Ewa’s chances for the crown. She has been gaining some attention since the first Hot Picks was published.
She may have fell down from the top spot but it doesn’t mean that Miss Puerto Rico Victoria Arocho is out. She is still very much in contention for the crown. Victoria remains a favorite of the beauty experts and it is up to her prelims performance whether she will return to the top spot or not.
Rounding up the Top 5 is Miss Zimbabwe Courtney Jongwe. She was in the 13th spot at the first Hot Picks and now she is the leading candidate from the African continent. She could pull off like some sort of Cinderella story at Miss Earth 2023 if ever she will win the crown. Beauty experts and fans simply love her!
