MISIBIS BAY, ALBAY – Hoàng Thi Hanh of Vietnam bagged the gold medal at the Miss Earth 2019 Water group resort wear competition held October 20 at Misibis Bay Resort in Cagraray Island, Bacacay in Albay province.
Croatia’s Nera Nicolic and Guyana’s Faydeha King took the silver and bronze, respectively. The medalists were announced during the gala night held Sunday evening.
Meanwhile, Nikki Prein of the Netherlands was named Miss Earth Flora of Misibis Bay.
The 85 delegates of Miss Earth showcased their best in the resort wear and swimwear parade at the poolside of Misibis Bay. Afterwards, some of them participated in designing woven buri bags that will be auctioned off to help raise funds for Misibis Women’s Livelihood Organization. To cap the event, fireworks at the Albay Gulf lit up the firmament as fire dancers entertained the audience by the beach. Missosology.Org
