Kanisha Sluis won the Miss Curacao 2015 crown in pageant held Saturday night, June 13 at the Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort. The first runner-up is Neyda Lithgow while the second runner-up is Shaedith Adriana who also won the Miss Congeniality award.A total of seven contestant vied for the crown. Miss Universe 2014 fourth runner-up Kaci Fennell of Jamaica attended the finals night.
Kanisha will represent Curacao on the next edition of Miss Universe. The highest placement of her country at the Miss Universe was in 1968 when Anne Marie Braafheid became the first runner-up. The latest semifinals finish of Curacao was way back in 1997 when Verna Vasquez made it to the Top 6.
