Joyce Delgado, representing the Cape Verdean community in the Netherlands, was crowned Miss Cabo Verde 2018 during the finals held last month.
She will represent the African nation at the 2019 Miss World pageant.
Magali Fernandes of Tarrafal, Ilha de Santiago placed first runner-up, while Risilene Gonçalves of Ilha do Sal finished second runner-up.
Jennifer Rodrigues was named Miss Photogenic while Melany Patrício was Miss Congeniality.
