The candidates of Romania and the Dominican Republic are now part of the Miss Asia Pacific International 2019 semifinals after bagging two major special awards during the preliminaries held October 5 at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City in the Philippines.
Ana Maria Ciritel of Romania was named Best in Swimsuit, with the representatives of the Phiilippines and the Dominican Republic placing first and second runners-up, respectively.
Ana Maria Ciritel of the Dominican Republic bagged the Best in Evening Gown award, while Misses Canada and Australia finished first and second runners-up, respectively.
