As correctly predicted by Missosology, Michelle Dee took the coveted Miss Universe Philippines crown. This is already her second attempt at the pageant. Last year, she placed second and was conferred with the Miss Universe Philippines Tourism title.
This year’s edition of Miss Universe Philippines was hotly contested. Most of the pageant blogs and self-styled pageant seers chose Miss Bohol Pauline Amelinckx as their winner. Unfortunately, she settled only for a Top 5 finish along with top favorite Miss Baguio Krishnah Marie Gravidez.
Missosology also correctly predicted four of the Top 5 finalists. Excluded in the Final Hot Pick‘s Top 5 is Miss Zambales Christine Juliane Opiaza who became the first runner-up. Meanwhile, Miss Pampanga Mary Angelique Manto is the second runner-up.
A total of 31 contestants representing various provinces and cities across the country competed for the prestigious title. The glittering finals night was held at MOA Arena and was attended by several luminaries including the current Miss Universe R’bonney Gabriel, Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi and Miss Universe owner Anne Jakrajutatip.
