Pageant veteran Michelle Ange Minkata has been designated as Cameroon’s representative to the 70th edition of the Miss Universe competition that will take place in December in Eilat, Israel, the Miss Cameroun organization announced on November 9.
The 25-year-old commerical model succeeds 2020 titleholder Angele Kossinda.
A familiar face in the pageant industry, Minkata was Miss Cameroon 2016-17 and represented the country at the 2017 Miss World contest. Two years later, she competed at the 2019 Miss Asia Pacific International competition.
Minkata holds a bachelor’s degree in applied geography.
