Mia le Roux, 28, was born in Sasolburg, Free State and is currently residing at Oudtshoorn, Western Cape. She is a model, marketing manager and a part time marketing student. Since she was a young kid, she suffered from a profound hearing loss and now she made history as the first Miss South Africa who is hearing impaired. As the new Miss South Africa, she will compete for the Miss Universe 2024 title later this year in Mexico.

The Miss South Africa 2024 is the 66th edition of the pageant and the finals night was held at the SunBelt Arena in Pretoria. Nompumelelo Maduna from Gauteng was named as the first runner-up while Onalenna Constantin from North West Province was the second runner-up. Layla Zoubair and Onstshiametse Tlhopane completed the Top 5.
