Miss World has announced the Continental Queens for the 70th Miss World. They are:

Africa: Miss Cote D’Ivoire Olivia Yacé
Americas: Miss United States Shree Saini
Asia & Oceania: Miss Indonesia Carla Yules
Caribbean: Miss Dominican Republic Emmy Peña
Europe: Miss Northern Ireland Anna Leitch

Notice that unlike in 2019, there is no continental queen from Oceania. Instead, it was integrated with the Asian region just like what happened from 1990-2004 and from 2007 to 2011. That’s because Oceania countries skipped the pageant including the bigger ones like Australia and New Zealand.

The Continental Queens are usually the highest ranking contestant that came from a specific region. Since 1981, there were 5 regions Americas, Africa, Asia, Europe, and Oceania. In 1989, the Caribbean region was included. Also, in 2005 and 2006, Europe was split into two regions – Northern Europe and Southern Europe.
